In a world full of wonderful libraries, the New York Public Library is a true gem. This magnificent institution offers 400,000 children’s books and other literature materials and world-class educational programs and research facilities. We were honored that Kaho’olawe: The True Story of an Island and Her People had been selected by NYPL as one of its best nonfiction books for 2025.

Now imagine our delight that Kaho’olawe has just earned a place on the New York Public Library’s Vibrant Voices Kids Books 2026 list! We are so grateful to be included on this wonderful list of books!
